With major events converging in Japan this year, we are delighted to share the current state of the Japanese Blockchain Ecosystem. Since June 2018, the government has initiated a regulatory sandbox for new technologies including blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT). As of March, the country’s financial regulator, the Financial Services Agency, has issued operating licenses for 19 cryptocurrency exchanges, including Rakuten Wallet and Coincheck. Only last month, it was revealed that 100 Japanese firms will be joining forces to share critical production data on a blockchain platform, in a bid to elevate the entire Japanese manufacturing industry.

BINARYSTAR and Asia Blockchain Review are seizing this opportunity to discuss current affairs in Asia and the future of the blockchain industry. Join us in October for the culmination of several occurrences in the flagship event: Unblock Tokyo.

Expect meetups, keynotes, workshops, dinners, and parties. We will discuss the hottest topics in the blockchain and crypto space and make lasting connections with people from all around the world.
