We're hosting an evening of drinks and fun directly after the first day of the conference. We'll be right next to the Devcon 5 venue, so you can easily walk over and pop in before heading off to some of the other events happening.

To get to the rooftop, leave the conference venue at the rear entrance, and cross the bridge. From there our signs and the staff at the Hyatt will send you in the right direction.

The evening is hosted by Circle, Matic, Reserve, and dGen.

Circle

Reserve

Reserve is a digital currency that will have real-world value, enabling broader economic prosperity by giving people autonomy and control of their money. Reserve will provide people with a hyperinflation-protected savings account to help them protect and use their money globally. Reserve is being designed to be stable, open to all, and massively scalable, with a separate token that will reward users who support the network.

Matic

Matic Network provides free, instant and secure Ethereum based cryptographic token payments and transfers. Decentralized eco-system lacks user experience, usability, and convenience. Decentralized transactions are slow, expensive and complex. They aim to change that by simplifying the interaction between users and decentralized world. We want to make this world so easy that anyone would use without worrying about the complexity.

dGen

After generation X, generation Y (millennials) and the digital native generation Z, the convergence of emerging technology and decentralisation is shaping a Decentralised Generation - dGen. Based in Berlin, this non-profit foundation is researching what adoption of blockchain technology looks like for the public sector, enterprises, and society in Europe. Through publicly available research reports they help build the bridge between tech and the traditional world, by focussing at niche industries and use cases.
