日本西部の経済と文化の中心地であり、関西地方として知られています。

大阪は全国からあらゆる食材が集まる「天下の台所」であり、瀬戸内の海産物や大阪近郊の野菜にも恵まれ、
日本料理の基礎となった食文化が栄えた場所でもあります。

今回のDevcon 5に参加される皆さんの多くはもしかしたら既に
大阪もしくは関西地方観光を企画されているかもしれません。
電車での移動ももちろん可能ですが、せっかくなら自転車で！

街を見て回るには最適な手段です！

大阪の名所やストリートフード巡りを含んだサイクリングツアーで大阪の街を一緒に楽しみましょう！


- Osaka Bike tour -

Osaka is the second largest city in Japan, and one of the largest in the world with over 19 million residents. Osaka is an economic and cultural hub of western Japan, also known as the Kansai region.

During the Edo-era, Osaka was called "Tenka-no-daidokoro" which means Japan's kitchen, including fresh seafood from the Seto Inland sea and produce from the surrounding mountains. It is said that the foundation of Japanese food culture was born in the Osaka area.

Many Devcon 5 participants might already be planning to tour Osaka or Kansai during the conference. You can travel around by train, of course, but a cycling tour is a great way to see the city!

Join us for a guided cycling tour that includes an opportunity to sample Osaka food and see some beautiful places.

参加費用：1名 - 3000円（約27ドル）

当日連絡なしのキャンセルなどを防ぐため、参加者の方にサイクリングツアーのコストを半分ご負担いただく形にしております。参加人数枠は限られておりますでお早めにどうぞ！

サイクリングの後は軽い交流会を予定しておりますので、ツアー参加有無に関わらずお時間ある方はぜひご参加ください！（ファーストドリンク無料）

Price: JPY 3000 (about US$27) per person

We are asking participants to pay about half of the cost of the tour, to help ensure commitment of those who register. Space is limited so sign up soon!

For bicycle rentals, we recommend the reasonably-priced, Osaka Bike Share (aka DoCoMo Cycle) bicycle rental program. 【ツアー概要】
Tour plan

14:00 集合＠松屋町駅、地下鉄鶴見緑地線 - 出発
- 自転車選定
- 3グループに分かれる
- 5分おきに出発

14:00 meet up and start at Matsuyamachi station, Tsurumiryokuchi-line (metro)
- Pick up the bikes
- There will be 3 groups
- Each group start every 5 min

1. 中之島エリア（15分）
- エリアをサイクリング
- ビジネス地域や川沿い、綺麗な公園を巡る

1. Nakanoshima Area (15min)
-Cycle through this area seeing around the business district and riverside and beautifully organized park.

2. 大阪城（30分）
- 大阪城へ向かい、30分間周辺を散歩
- お城の前で記念撮影
（美しく壮大なお堀は目を見張り、オススメのスポットの一つ）

2. Osaka castle (30min)
-Stop at Osaka castle and have some time to walk around the area.
-We will take some pictures in front of the castle.
( If you get close to Tenshukaku, and look down the Ohori(moat trench),It is really beautiful yet dynamic and many people are surprised by that)

3. 四天王寺（10分）
- 日本で最古のお寺の一つと言われる四天王寺を歩く

3. Shitenno Shrine (10min)
-Walk in the Shitenno Shrine which is known as one of the oldest shrines in Japan.
-Its architectures are huge and people get to see/ learn historical memories from them.

4. 一心寺 - 三千佛堂（5分）
- 京都の三十三間堂を思い出させる圧倒的な仏像を見学
- 佛堂に入ると息を飲みいきなり静かになってしまうような雰囲気がある

4. Isshin Ji - Sanzenbutudou (5min)
-This place makes people think of Sanju-Sangen-Do in Kyoto.
- Its amazing Butsuzou will always surprise people visiting here. Almost all people will stop talking and just be in the moment when they entered the room.

5. 新世界（15分）
- 大阪のタワーといえば、通天閣
- 新世界を歩く
- ストリートフードを楽しむ

5. Shinsekai (15min)
-Walkthrough the area called Shinsekai.
-When it comes to the tower in Osaka, people think of Tsutenkaku.
This is a good instagrammable site and there are some snacks people can enjoy.

6. でんでんタウン（10分）
- でんでんタウンをサイクリング
- 日本橋エリアにある、大阪の秋葉原

6. Denden town(10min)
-Just cycling through the area.
–This place is called Osaka version of Akihabara, located in Nipponbashi.

8. 黒門市場（25分）フリータイム
- 大阪で人気の市場
- 自分の好きなストリートフードやお土産をここで！

8. Kuromon Ichiba (25min) Free time
-Very popular market in Osaka.
-We will let participants walk around the market and they can buy/eat whatever they like to.

The closest subway exits are Shinsaibashi Station exit 7(Midosuji Line), and Yotsubashi Station exit 6(Yotsubashi Line).

Those who will join us after 17:30, let's meet up at the Cafe Absinthe around 17:40.
For cycling tour participants, we are going to the cafe together after the tour!

①保険について
レンタルする自転車には賠償責任保険がついております。
ご自身のけがの補償などに関しては、ご自身でのご対応になりますのでご不安な方はご自身の保険補償内容をご確認ください。


②雨天の場合
小雨でツアー実施が可能な場合はカッパをお渡しし、ツアーは開催予定です。
とても強い雨の場合はリスケジュールもしくは返金にて対応させていただきます。

①Insurance
The bicycle plan we provide includes vehicle liability insurance. Please check the coverage options of your insurance for injury compensation if you need to.

②In case of rain
We will cancel or reschedule the tour in case of heavy rain.
If the rain is not too heavy, and we can proceed the tour, we will distribute raincoats to the participants.
